Electric vehicles to hit Guam this January

 

Going green just got a little easier for Guam.  This January, Cars Plus is announcing the launch of the newest addition to their lineup of brands – GEM Electric Motorcars – more commonly known as GEM. 

 

While gas prices continue to fluctuate and with environmental concerns on the rise, this is the perfect solution for our community.  GEM cars are 100% battery-electric and emit zero tailpipe emissions.  They’re smooth, they’re clean, and they’re quiet.  As if that isn’t enough, because they are so eco-friendly, tax credits and financial incentives may be available. 

 

These multi-purpose electric cars could be used just about anywhere on island; in villages, gated communities, hotels, military bases, and government agencies just to name a few.  They’re not only eco-friendly and more efficient than ever, but they’re economical, low maintenance, and made with leading-edge technology. 

 

In 2007, GEM won the prestigious Blue Sky Merit Award, which is presented to companies, organizations, or individuals selected for making outstanding contributions to clean air, energy-efficiency, and to the advanced transportation industry.
