Cars Plus Rams defeat the Pepsi Warriors, 27-14

On Saturday, January 23rd, The Miller Football League was kicked off by two great teams, the Cars Plus Rams and the Pepsi Warriors! After 4 grueling quarters in the heat, Cars Plus took the win, ending the game at 27-14. Our very own Fleet Manger - Dunge Rios - played his heart out. We can't wait for the rest of the MFL season, and we're so excited to have this great league return! For the MFL schedule, give us a call or send us an email!
2009 Employee of the Year!

We just celebrated our Employee of the 4th Quarter and 2009 Employee of the Year, and taking home a bunch of Sales awards AND Employee of the Year, was Paul San Nicolas! In addition to Employee of the Year for Cars Plus, he took home Top Sales of 2009, Top Chrysler Sales, Top Sales of the 4th Quarter, and Top Chrysler Sales of the 4th Quarter. Congratulations, Paulie! We're very proud of you.
GEM Electric Vehicles on Guam!

This January was a very busy month here at Cars Plus! Not only did we release the all new Hyundai Tucson, but we launched our first electric vehicles, GEM Electric Motorcars! A brand of Chrysler Group, LLC, these cars are not only low maintenance and reliable, but they are 100% electric! Perfect for Guam's roads and speed limits, and not to mention better for the environment? This is surely something we can all be on board with!
2010 Hyundai Tucson Launch

On January 2nd, 2010 we launched our all new Hyundai Tucson! If you haven't seen it yet, stop by and check it out today! It is completely re-designed with a ton of new features. Photographed here is Tom Tanner giving a presentation on the new SUV, explaining the key differences, and key features. The new 2010 Tucson is truly a head turner, and won't disappoint.

Every year Cars Plus is a part of the Liberation Day Parade and we couldn't be more excited to be in it this year! We'll be having Miss Earth 2009 Malu Santos joining us, so when you see us coming down the parade, be sure to wave!!! Biba Guam on our 65th year of Liberation!

The 2009 Annual Soap Box Derby to benefit the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America was this weekend, May 9th at the Yigo Racetrack and Dragstrip. Our rider this year was Jerrilyn Naval, daughter of our Cycles Plus top Sales Rep, Bob Naval! Riding for Team Cycles Plus was Nathan Perez who also did a great job! We're looking forward to next year's Soap Box Derby already!

On Tuesday, April 22nd, Cars Plus along with Henry Simpson, Tom Akigami, Joe McDonald, and the team of Miller Lite presented the winners of the 2009 Hyundai Tucson from Smoking Wheels! A big congratulations to Louis Santos on winning the all-new Hyundai Tucson!

Cars Plus, 76/Circle K and the Guam Chamber of Commerce presented Frank Russo with a 2009 Hyundai Tucson! Frank won the putting contest that took place at the Chamber's Armed Forces Committee Golf Tournament. Not only does he get the vehicle, but he gets a full year of FREE GAS from 76/Circle K as well! Congratulations Frank, and enjoy your new Tucson!

On Friday, August 22nd, we launched the all new 2009 Hyundai Genesis here at our Cars Plus Hyundai Showroom. Sales Executive Tom Tanner gave a stellar presentation on this beautifully made sedan, and guests were able to take it on a test drive. Wine, light refreshments, raffle drawings, these are just a few of the things we do to show our appreciation to Hyundai customers, friends, and guests.
Dodge Challenger Delivery!

On Friday, August 8th, Cars Plus presented Dr. Shieh with the very first Dodge Challenger to hit Guam. To launch the classic Dodge Challenger, Cars Plus also held a small cocktail party for guests and media to help celebrate the occassion. Pictured in the photo from Left to Right is proud owner Dr. Shieh, Sales Manager Vince Mafnas and Fleet Manager Dunge Rios.

Jabbawockeez at Cars Plus

MTV's America's Best Dance Crew, Jabbawockeez, held an autograph session at Cars Plus in July. The Jabbawockeez, sponsored by Cars Plus, Cycles Plus, and Payless Car Rental, performed on Guam for two nights at the Father Duenas Phoenix Center. Proceeds from their shows benefited the Make a Wish Foundation, a very well-known non-profit organization. The first part of their autograph session at Cars Plus was dedicated solely for Make a Wish children so they could have their exclusive time with the Jabbawockeez.

On July 21, Guam celebrated its 64th year of Liberation, and Cars Plus helped make the annual Liberation Parade a memorable one. Team Driven showed off its latest lines of Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Hyundai, and its full line of Cycles Plus products, including the all new SYM scooters! Every year Cars Plus looks forward to being a part of this tradition.

After months of planning and building, Cars Plus celebrated it's Grand Opening of the new dealership in Maite! To help celebrate in this wonderful occassion was Chrysler's Lou Stavale, Hyundai's Tony Jung, Kawasaki's Scott Kiyama, Art Sandoval, and Eigo Konya. The ceremony started with several speeches and presentations, and included three separate ribbon cuttings for Chrysler, Hyundai, and Cycles Plus. A big Si Yu'us Ma'ase to everyone for making this occassion a memorable one.
